Memoirs of the Sistahood is a series of evening-length, multi disciplinary works based on the memoirs of two sisters who grew up in a large Catholic family in 1950's Louisiana. Chapter Three is a study of motherhood, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and humorous tales of growing up Catholic.

Tsunami Dance Company

Tsunami Dance Company is a New Orleans-based modern dance company incorporating athletic, innovative movement with a dynamic, contemporary style in its original works. Yearly programming includes self-produced company concerts, performances in community arts events and national dance festivals, guest artist residencies, and community master classes. The company has been featured in NYC's Cool New York Festival, D.U.M.B.O. Dance Festival and Wave Rising Series. Tsunami has also earned multiple Big Easy Awards for Best Modern Dance Presentation and Best Original Work.

The CAC is proud to have 5 local theater companies (Chard Gonzalez Dance Theater, Art Spot Productions, Mondo Bizarro, Skin Horse Theater, and Artist, Inc.) writing and performing 4 original theatrical works for children.
