Using theater, storytelling and improvisation, the Truth Be Told project aims to open conversations in our communities around race and racism. Story Circle, which premieres at both the Ashé Cultural Arts Center and CAC, describes the emotions and experiences that have emerged from numerous Truth Be Told meetings and story circles held over the past year. Part touching, part tumultuous, Story Circle skillfully documents these attempts to expose, discuss and heal the New Orleans racial divide.
Featuring Troi Bechet, Kerry Cahill, Harold X. Evans, Dollie Rivas, Diana E. H. Shortes, Carol Sutton, Philip Tracy and Chris Williams.
