The adventure unfolds when Maldemere abandons the children in the swamp and they have to find their way home. After the egrets eat their trail of shrimp heads they fear that they will be lost forever ...until they meet the Willagator. She offers to lead them out of the swamp, but there's a catch. They must help her break the spell that transformed her from a former beauty queen into a not-very-attractive swamp monster. To do this they must confront the evil sorceress, Mamou Laroux ...but a wonderful surprise awaits them if they succeed! The Shoestring Players was founded in 2001.
