CAC presents Sisters Becky Beaullieu Valls & Babette Beaullieu’s Memoirs of the Sistahood—Chapter Three: Ave Maria

Choreographer Becky Beaullieu Valls of Houston, sculptor Babette Beaullieu of New Orleans, and filmmaker Deborah Schildt of Anchorage team up to create Memoirs of the Sistahood, a series of multi-disciplinary works of dance, performance art, sculpture and film based on the memoirs of two sisters who grew up in a large Catholic family in 1950s Louisiana. Chapter Three is a study of motherhood, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and humorous tales of growing up Catholic.
