Beginning in 2026, the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans will host quarterly Open Calls for visual art and performance, inviting artists to engage with CACNO as a site for
experimentation, dialogue, and discovery.

The next Open Call will be for Visual Art, opening July 10, 2026. Full guidelines and submission details will be released on April 30, 2026.

Volunteer with CACNO

Volunteering at CACNO is an opportunity to be part of the creative ecosystem that animates our building and our city. From ushering performances to learning new production skills, volunteers collaborate closely with staff and patrons to support artists and bring ambitious work to life.

We invite you to join a volunteer meet-up—share your experience, exchange ideas, and explore how CACNO can inspire you, and how you can help inspire CACNO.
